hi,

Using Networker 7.2 on Solaris 9 systems, I have a nsr server directives that skips all *.mp3 files and is working well.
I now want to on one client allow mp3 files to be backed up.
I tried allow *.mp3 and get ignored bad ASM arguement in the backups email. Anyone know how to override a server nsr directive with a local directive?

Thanks

Hi mlmmilkyway!

always: *.mp3

How about just not using the directive on that server that you want to allow mp3, also if you search for directives on admin Guide you will get all the switches to use.

allow" is not a true directive - it is more a variable. You can not use "allow" on files. The purpose actually is to allow local directives (.nsr) files to be recognized.
