nslookup

Hi

I installed and configured SUN 5.8 on sun workstation and it works fine. I am able to give proper entries in /etc/resolv.conf and nslookup works fine. But when i try to browse i am unable to resolve fully qualified names and when i use IP add i can browse. The same domain name can be resolved with NSLOOKUP. Can any one help to resolve this.

you need to edit "/etc/nsswitch.conf" and add dns to hosts, eg:
...
passwd: files
group: files
hosts: files dns
...
