Hi All,

Currently trying to ascertain whether two servers - 'A' (W2k) & 'B' (NT) can communicate using nslookup.

B can look up A using an IP address, but not a name; "can't find A: non existent domain" for the latter.

Trying from the 2k box for address & name I get;

"nslookup is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"

So it doesn't even like the command in the first place! Nothing has been fiddled with on either box (to my knowledge); it's just stopped doing what it was supposed to. At present, we are unable to backup one of our servers because of this!

Any ideas on getting them to talk nicely to each other, please?

Many thanks,

Neil.
