hello

we just completed a server move and one of our nsf files somehow lost it's correct acl settings.

It's suppose to have a group "Administrators" with Full Admin access, but it doesn't.

Now, I can't add or change any access to the file. The server is already live and file is in use so I'm kind of limited to what I can do with it.

Does anyone know anyway to take back ownership or full access of the file?

Try to change the ACL with the server stopped, using local file access to set it.

Brgds,

thanks, are you talking about NTFS permissions? I'm talking about the actual domino permissions that are changed via the Domino Admin client..

sorry, i'm fairly new to this stuff..

No, I am refering to Access Control Levels in Notes. Try the following steps:

- Stop the domino server
- Start Domino Administrator in local mode
- Open the nsf-file with changed access rights
- Override/adjust the acl (File | Database | Access control)

Unless you get troubles opening the actual nsf file this should work...

Brgds,

TrooDOS

Duh! Told you I was a n00b! That worked perfectly, Thanks!
