Just a FMI question. What do you guys use or do with wiring from the NS700 when the voice cables are terminated on 110 or 66 blocks? I am looking for something more modular friendly, Leviton has some cool stuff. I installed Norstar for 25 years that's why I am asking a lot of newbie Panasonic questions. Thanks for your help...again!

We use Krone blocks, over here and if the voice cables are terminated on krone blocks. I would use cat5 cables patched to the system and other end terminated to krone blocks in order or ports on the system. then use jumper cable to patch from system side to wiring side on krone frame

To keep tidy, I would remove old jumper cable if moving extension to new port and replace with correct length of jumper cable

We use a lot of 110 blocks and I was thinking about using one of the blocks shown but wasn't sure if anyone had any luck with them.

Unfotunately, image not clear enough. Am also not sure if the pins used on KX-NS700 are same as on KX-NS500. We use KX-NS500 here. I will check the KX-NS700 Installation manual

that picture shows a cat5 panel and not a 110 block

as far as I know the wiring is the same on the 500 and 700 as the 700 is based on the 500 system

The bottom part of the picture (that you can't see) has 110 pins. This way I can just cross wire to the destination, much easier than cutting off the connector from one side of the patch cable, punching it on a 110, punching down a c-4 and THEN cross wiring. I will probably just buy one and try it. Thanks again.

you could do that, but as time and changes are made to the system. it could get very messy/untidy
