NS700 Group Voicemail

Hi Guys,

Has anyone worked out how to use the built in TVM group voicemail with a notifcation displaying that there is a group message in mail box?

I have created a group mail box 601 dialed in and recorded the greetings by 500 #6* 601 password recored name then the greeating options but the message button for group 601 dosent do anything.

I also had an issue if calls were not answered on that group the system wouldnt go to the group mail box 601 but if you put the system into night mode a message can be left.

Any suggestions would be appricated.

you have to use intercept to 500 in day mode for group 601 with 20 sec or what ever time before it goes to the vm
the line has to be dil or ddi to group 601.

if you setup message waiting button for group 601. it will light if a message is left and you can press it to bring you to the mailbox. if not lit it will not do anything

 
Hi Obtsystems,

I had set under Group settings - Overflow no answer to 500 (voicemail) and set time to 10 secs for testing.
I had left a voicemail and programmed a button for voicemail collect for the group 601 button didnt light. The only way I could retrieve the message was to dial into the mail box 601 from the phone.

I had then spoke to another engineer who said they had got a fix on this by creating a User 151 with vmail 601 and the voicemail 601 point to the user extension 151. still wouldn't work. I had spoke to another Engineer who said that was not correct the previous way should have worked.

I have had this worked on a separate KXTDE and tvm system connected via Digital port but on the NS700 it hasent worked?
Have you got this working on the NS700?
I take it you mean by intercept Overflow no answer under the group settings?

Any help or info you could pass would be great.

 
that should work, have you checked notification settings to allow message lamp on for mailbox.
button should be set as message waiting 601

Then tell the customer you can't think while he or she is on your neck, be honest with that and send them away.
Tell them the solution when it finally works.
 
Don't know if you got sorted but make sure you have set the extension number of mailbox 601 as extension 601 as well
