I'm trying to set up a mailbox to forward to an outside number using the following method:
UM Configuration > Mailbox Settings > Call Transfer Sequence (set to "Other") then in the next field I put in the "F" for Flash, followed by the number to be dialed, then "D" for disconnect, as outlined in the manual. Instead of performing the hookswitch transfer, it brought me back to the main greeting.
It's a KX-NS700. They have Comcast lines, and I was able to perform a manual transfer from a digital extension using the same sequence.
