Have a client that wants to record all calls on the NS700 with 11 extensions and 6 analog CO lines. I am confused on what Keys are required to allow all 11 extensions to be recorded simutaniously? I know I need the KX-NSU002W for manager but this allow multiple recordings to built in UM at same time? Do I need more channels of UM other than the 2 built in. I have the SD small, and DSP but is that it?

Also I want to schedule the backup to NAS so all I need is the KX-NSU003W or is their a key to get NAS to work?

Thank you.

You would need a external call recorder to handle that type of recording,

Thanks for posting but can't the NS700 do automatic call recording?

Yes it can but it would take a lot of management to maintain. You would need at least 6 um channels to record all the calls
The recording space is only a few hours depends on card
You can backup daily but still have to delete the old ones or it will fill the memory. Backup is not playable unless you upload it to the system and will over write the mailbox for thst day

Searching calls would be imposiable unless you kept a log as well

I would not sell it as a call recording solution

If you are using IP phones you might want to look at the Poltys software. They are who Panasonic has partnered with and you can find their phone number from Panasonic.

They have a lot of reporting features available too.

I think panasonic no longer have a partnership with poltys
We did one and did not like the interface or the different parts needed for it to run
