NS5XP and Internet Connection

Not sure whether it is just normal or what. But when I have my computer behind the firewall my Internet access is slower than if I went striaght to the DSL modem. Ping time is slower from 15 to 20 ms. Inspecting packets?

Also, you need to provide more info such as, OS version what IDP properties you have enabled, whether you are doing NAT or routing, etc. This will help in determining your problem. The more IDP properties you have selected the slower the device will be in allowing traffic. Lastly, are you using any traffic shaping?
