One of our client has TDA 600 with master and slave setup, unfortunately the main unit has failed.
He now wants to install KX-NS1000, as to have the latest unit and also he's opening up remote branches and wants to connect them with the IP Phones.
He has currently 15 CO lines
KX-DT series about 40 phones
KX-76 series about 40 phones
SLT-KX-TS500 20 phones

What does he need to buy together with the KX-NS1000 unit ?
What stack cards ?
What IP Extension Capacity ?
DSP Card ? etc

Thanks

You will need the NS1000 stack card and the kxtde600 stack card.
Panasonic KX-NS0130 Stacking Master Card
Panasonic KX-NS0132 Stacking Card

the basic 30 capacity will work until you start adding IP phones to the system

you will need a DSP, small will do unless you are going to expand a lot.

Look at the data sheet. the total number of extensions and lines capacity does not change across all the systems, just type of phones like slt and digital phones and isdn or analogue CO lines

The client's in house technician claims that the KX-TDA600 EMPR main processor card (KX-TDE6101) has become malfunctioned.
If I install NS-1000 shelf with the stack cards , will it work without the processor ?

Thanks.

yes, the stack card replaces the processor in the tda. if he has a backup, it can be converted to the NS1000 with legacy gateway

I just want to clarify as you said ,"if he has a backup" what type of backup are you referring to ?
The old tda600 configuration backup or ?

Yes old tde600 backup. It will configure system back to that date

Thanks.
Any how the client has decided to buy TDE 600 as it's immediately available.
NS-1000 needs to be ordered.

Will the TDE600 work with TDA620 shelf ?

Previously, he had TDA600.

Thanks.

It should, the tda 600 was convertable to the tde 600 by changing the main board

Thanks .
Have managed to install the tde 600 and it's working fine.

They have about 11 Co lines out of which 4 are GSM

They want that form 1800 hours till 0800 in the morning the gsm lines should be blocked.
Staffs can't call out.
How can I enable it ?

use class of service in night mode and block the GSM lines in external line block at night mode

Thanks obtsystems.

We have four cos here.
1. Directors - all permitted.
2. Managers - Landline and 2 gsm permitted.
3. Normal staffs - only Landline permitted.
4. Operations manager - Landline and 2 gsm permitted.

Currently All the Landline allows to call gsm numbers , in fact any number including an International number. I want to set that the Landline CO should only call Landline .

Is there also any option to change the music on hold, the client doesn't like the default one.

Thanks.

You use ARS to route calls to landline and gsm. use class of service call block to allow which of the 4 services use what lines

you can also use tenant service to only let that group to use the ARS

music choice is beeps or internal music, you can also connect an external player to the system
