I have just downloaded NRU and I cannot access my internal modem on my laptop. My modem is on COM3...the NRU says it cannot access COM3. WIN XP/Home Edition with Microsoft Office Package (Word, Front Page etc...)

I was also wanting information on the norstar manager software. I have downloaded this program as well, but the initial screen prompts me to enter a user ID and password...as you may assume...I have neither!

got into NMANAGER....still having trouble with communications

you should be alble so set up your pref. at look at com 3 .
as far as Norstar manager goes the user name can be anything .
the password is adminpassword then go to settings and you can change that to whatever you want .
If you could please let me now how it runs for you .
I am running win2000 pro and norstar manager is kinda flaky . Mario Mazza

I goto prefs and change the com port to three and it say that it cannot open com3.....[bigears]....I am all ears...

As for the NMANAGER...I have it up and running...I just need a RAD # and Password to try it out on...anyone?

I am running the 8.0 on Win ME and although it works OK, I still get an error message every time when starting and then just hit ignore and have no probs after that. (On Laptop). On the Desktop, Win98 has no problems. You would think that a company like Nortel could make it work on all OS's, but oh well! It still is a pretty slick remote maint. program.

Rodger that...I am starting a job next week, and they use RAD...which I am not familiar with...given the money they offered me...I thought it would be nice if I could at least get this thing to connect...

Thanks Guys...
