NRU 11 tools ?

Hi everybody, since i install windows 7 pro,i can not install the NRU utility, keep saying its not on the right release, is there a new release for windows 7?

I can't get it to work on 7 either. Tried the virtual PC with XP mode, it will load but still not connection. No fix for it since it's discontinued.

cook, I have VISTA and had to load the virtual PC and mine works with NRU11 without any problem. If I remember you had a choice between 32b or 64b when loading XP for Virtual PC. Make sure you loaded 32.

You can load NRU 11 on a Vista Laptop but you'll need to run it under a Win 98 "compatibility mode", look under "making older programs run with Vista" in the Help section...

missy8s, I got it to work on Vista also but they are having trouble with Windows 7. I don't have a machine with 7 on it to try.

Issues like this is why I keep around older PC's and laptops with Win98 or XP. Since Norstar is on borrowed time I don't expect Avaya to address this problem with NRU.

After you install in XP mode for Win7 open XP Mode (not virtual mode).
Select Tools then Options.
Select a COM port that your modem uses and check off Physical serial port.
