NRU 10 for free? 2

Did someone say that NRU 10 is available for free? IF so were can I DL a copy. Is NRU 11 available and what is the difference between the two.

If I have to pay for NRU 11 were can I buy it?

Go to Nortel's site and register and you can get the 10.0. The 11.0 is not free yet you have to buy it from a NIRTEL vendor.

Can I BU NAM as well using 11? It has a floppy drive.

The NAM is backed up through a system phone. F983, login, press 22 to backup. Have several floppy disks on hand as it could take several to complete the backup. Label the disks as you go starting with disk 1. When restoring the NAM F983, login, press 33.

Like jeff said the NRU 11 is for RLS 7 or lower software. If you do not have anything running 7.0 then you can use NRU 10 for RLS 6.1 or lower and you will be alright.

If you have a lower release MICS (R1 - R3) you must use Norstar Manager for backup and restore.
