I am looking for assistance configuring FEHO accross my IP trunks. I want to send all calls with a particular NXX accross the network so the call can be made out of PBX local to that number. I have several PRI T1's set up to do this and working well. Using NARS/BARS I get the call routed to trunk group but how does the NRS know where to route the call? I've gone over the documentation and just don't find the information I'm looking for. Any guidance will be appreciated.

Build each endpoint so that it registers to the NRS.

At the endpoint where you want the calls to tandem, you need to create entries (e.164 national) so that the NRS recognizes that endpoint as having access to that NNX.

At the source site, route those particular calls to the IP route which will look to the NRS and the NRS will supply the node IP of the far end site.

You need to build entries in the NRS for each series of digits you would like each endpoint to handle. Takes a bit of time (especially if like Toronto, there are 5 NPAs that are local and 3 of those 5 also have LD), but once built, adding new sites to take advantage of this is a piece o cake.
