Hi,
I'm trying to setup NPS so that my network infrastructure authenticates with it. I want NPS to use local authentication. I found a way to do this located here;
When testing this, authentication fails. Having checked the logs it seems to query the domain, inserting the domain prefix before the user which leads me to believe its not using local authentication.
If I specify when trying to login to a switch the NPS server name prefix before the local username it then works obviously querying the local account list on the NPS server.
I dont want to do this, although not a massive issue, it seems the technet article is completely misleading.
Has anyone had any experiences with this?
Thanks
Ian
