Opt 61 getting daily minor alarms - code is NPR 0504 and this relates to incorrect use of Conf should use Ld 34 or Ld 46. Conf Loops seem ok, but any advice would be useful

look in ld 34 and test your conf trunks.. may just have a bad trunk

I have done stat loop, what else should I check ?

NPR0504 is normal response on Conf loops when you STAT in LD 32. You will also receive NPR0301 on the digital loops. This is not an error on your equipment. Just information directing you to LD 34 for more conference loop information and LD 60 for digital loops.
The good thing about LD 32 STAT is a quick check on all loops.

NPR0504 is appearing regularly - like every 10 mins ?
with an OPR ref as well

no, only do LD 32 Stat on a regular basis to check system

still getting this alarm, do I need to do anything to with it ?

In LD 32, regret but cannot do STAT as this pc is not connected but what you get is :
NPR0504 28/09/07 15.10.51 50070690

there are 3 reports the same.

Are you just typing the word STAT at the < ?

What is it your trying to find out by Typing STAT?

Stat by it's self is not a very useful way to do it.

What System do you have ?
Model ie: Option 11C, Option 61C ect
RLS of SW

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

it is an OPT 61 25.15 sw
Using LD 32 just to check alarms etc

STAT in 32 does not check alarms, it gives you a status on loops ie Enabled, Disabled, Not responding ect.

What alarms are you trying to check???

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

just general system status.
and the NPR0504 is one of the constant reports the system generates. Do I need to do anything about it ?

there are others and I know that they relate to old extns with vm but the extns have either been ceased or the number of vm messages exceeds the current max.

Just doing a STAT in LD 32 doesn't prove much or give a real look at what is happening. Unless I think I have a LOOP down and I'm not sure which LOOP is is, that is the only time I would do a STAT. If you really look at the STAT you will see somethings that don't actually exist in the switch, and it's been that way for 20 years. If you STAT the individual LOOPS you would get better info.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

what does NPR0504 indicate, and what should I do about it ?

NPR0504 Command not allowed for Conference/TDS/MFS cards. For TDMF loops use LD
34, or LD 46. For conference loops, use LD 38.

What it's saying is your using the Command STAT and it can't be used on all the LOOPS.

So unless you know why your doing a STAT, it's a waste of time to do it.

You could have looked the Error code in the NTP's.

the NPR0504 is being displayed constantly, even when I am not logged in.
