NPAs/NXXs

i am in New York City. Now that Verizon has forced callers to dial the entire ten-digit number, should I out all my NXXs? aren't they fairly useless right now?

I would leave them in the pbx and that way if you want to restrict by nxx you can. Are all the area codes ld for ny now? If not you might want to out certain npa's and make them spn's for local 10 didget dialing. Besides outing all the nxx's would take a long time an serves no purpose.

my NPAs (917, 212, 718) are not restricted. Every other NPA is. How can i restrict based on NXX if I need the NPA in front of the NXX?
