Hi,
I try to install Novell Netware 6 on windows 2000 without IIS. First, I run NWDEPLOY.exe, then in network preparation, it wants me to view/update "NDS Tree". However, I don't install netware before, so I guess there is no NDS Tree...right?
What should I do now? Do I have to install IIS first?
Now my HD has 3 partitions. One is for eng win2000, the 2nd is for chiness win2000. Can I install netware in the 3rd partition when I reboot from the installation CD?

Thanks a lot,
Sam

If you are just doing some experimenting/learning with Netware 6, I'd grab another workstation to do testing with. Typically the NWDeploy app, is used to prepare an existing tree for upgrading to Netware 6, and helping you get started. Take a look at the installation/upgrade options for help with installing. May want to scan some of the documents on Novell's website.

I've never really tried to setup a 2nd or 3rd partition on a windows workstation to be a novell server. Not certain if it can be done with out something like Partition Magic, or VMWare.
