Novell snapshot - registry after reboot

Hello,

I have a problem with novell snapshots.
Some applications we use are trying to make registry changes after a reboot. This does not work because the users do not have (write)access to the registry.
The workstation OS is Windows 200 Proffesional.
The Novell environment is Novell 5 with Zenworks for desktops 2.0.
Does anyone have an idea what to do about this, or maybe some useful tips?
