Novell NW6 running on VMWare 3.1.1

Hi Guys,

Anybody can help me? I'm trying to setup Netware 6 on VMWare Workstation 3.1.1. After asking for the NIC, it says I have to set the timesync. the sample command gave me is set timesync time sources =; (wr ; is none) after i typed the command, nothing happens.

what to do from here?

Have you tried VMWares support site?

http://www.vmware.com/support/desktop/index.html

they have pretty good instructions on how to get NetWare 6 running on VMWare.


Not sure why your running into a timesync issue, I never did when setting up NetWare on VMWare 3.1 or 3.2. The only problem I had was I needed to set dupicate IP addresses to ON to workaround a bug in the VMWare virutal NIC when using NetWare.

Thanks for the reply. I already checked the issue on vmware support page, but unfortunetely i cannot find the answer. but anyway, I already fixed the issue. I used VMWare 4.0.0 and it runs very fine now.
