having problem sending mail thru bm mail proxy
setup as per novell instructions, can receive but only a few , get mail returned when sent
any suggestions

The mail proxy doesn't work that well and the reccomendations from the sysops in the BM forums has always been to forget it and setup a static NAT path to the GW or other SMTP server . Do that and open up the appropriate ports for smtp and pop3 if used and make sure the mail server can reach your DNS .

I have got the proxy to work for a customer of ours. After applying all the latest service pack you need to edit sys:etc\proxy\proxy.cfg and create a mail section. The TID 2958609 says to add the BM Mail Proxy to the file as well as setting it in nwadmin. Once I did this worked a treat. Lee Smith
