Hi

I am running a Novell 4.11 server and using NFS Gateway 3.2 to look at my Unix exported volumes on my Windows 95 stations.

When I copy any data from my Novell or LOCAL drives onto the Unix volumes, I get file corruption (Null caracters etc.). When I use FTP the files copy accross without any corruption. I built a new server (faster machine P3 700) and reinstalled NFS. The problem still persists.

Please help

I'm not sure about this problem, but here are some suggestions to try.
1. On 1 WIN95 workstation, try uninstalling the supplied Netware client that accompanies Windows and install the WIIN95 client S/W that came with NW.
Note: Before uninstalling the existing client S/W, copy NW client S/W to the workstation because when you reboot, you won't be able to access the server until the NW client S/W is installed!)
2. Make sure that NUC.NLM (Netware for Unix Client) is loaded on the NW Server.
Post back if this helps any.
