I am trying to connect a Cisco VPN to use with Novell networks. The Cisco VPN client version that I have is 4.8.01.0.300, the client for Novell is 4.91 SP1, and the servers OS is Novell Netware 6.5. When I install the client it connects. The Novell part is where I am having the trouble. I am unable to browse to find the tree. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is because SLP is not being delivered to you through the VPN.

What you need to do is this. On your workstation, in the client properties, find the "Service Location" tab. In that dialog, you need to put the IP address of your SLP Directory Agent. That should fix it, you will have to reboot.

If you don't have SLP setup on your network, you need to do it.

Thanks for your help. I needed to install all of the IP addresses from the state ITS. Thanks again.
