Novell/Metaframe/Netshield

Novell (Version 5.0/sp6a)
Netshield (Engine version 4.1.60\Dat version 4.0.4195)
NT 4.0 MT 1.8

When attempting to copy files from a Novell drive to a local drive mapped in a metaframe session we receive a Dr. Watson error. Unloaded McAfee Netshield and copy errors disappear. Anybody experience this before?...If so did you find a resolution?
