Hi Guys,

We run a novell file server, am tired of users deleting files from shared resources.. Is there away to find who delete's the files.. thank you

Yes. Rightclick the Novell Icon in your system tray, select Novell Utilities -> Salvage. Select the volume/folder in question and click OK. This will generate a list of salvageable files that shows who deleted them and when. You can then cancel the Salvage operation.

Thank you lawnboy, whats the time limit on them will it show me files deleted a month ago.. And also can I find if the files has been moved to a different location?.. Thanks again guys

There is no time limit. It depends on how much space is available and how often (if ever) you purge the volumes. Files are automatically purged to make room for regular files that are written.

I know of no way to tell if a file has been moved (other than searching).
