Hi,

I don't know novell, just citrix and windows:)

I am planning to install some novell apps to Access novell directories from Citrix MPS 4 Server.

Now my Server is in Terminal server Role, and it is before Citrix installation.

Does anybody know what order I need to install and what?

For example :
Novell client 4.91 SP3
then Citrix?

or
Citrix and then the novell client?

Do I need to user ZenWORKS maybe??

Many thanks, I am in a big cloud :)
Cheers

install the netware client first

i would install the zen agent after the citrix install.
pending on the apps though you can access a netware server clientless with cifs

Enigma and TErry, Thanks for the comments, but I could not install Citrix MPS4 after installing novell client 4.91 sp3.

As far as I can , I set all prereguisites for installing citrix, like command line installation, becuase of the language differ from english, so I used msi installation from command prompt.

Unfortunately the installation rolling back while components installing to VM.

Now I have to start with Citrix and than try to install Novel Client.

Or do you have any idea from someone, who use other language then english?

Many Thanks!
cheers

Balage0,
terry712 is right...install the Novell Client first (configure it like Novell/Citrix recommend) then install Citrix on top of that.

1. Novell Client.
2. Configure Novell Client.
3. Install Citrix Metaframe Server.
4. Modify Metaframe Global Farm Settings "Novell Directory Services Preferred Tree".
5. Modify Registry settings on the Citrix server.

That should do it.
I don't know if they have any other languages but you can search the Novell/Citrix site.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Very much, now it looks like the problem should be with hungarian language windows. Now I am trying to hack up to citrix somehow into the VM, and when I'll have the technique then I will restore basic state and then start those steps you 've supposed.

I'll post the result

Thanks
Cheers
