I have loaded the Novell Client v4.83 on a windows 2000 Pro workstation, clean install from scratch! Loaded the client, so that I could install Groupwise 6, After the install of GW I removed the Client from the computer restarted, and get the following error.

RUNDLL
Error loading c:\program
The specified module could not be found

I get this error on one other computer as well, other computer have follow pretty much the same process, and get no error, including my workstation.

I have tried to reinstall the client 4.83 with sp2, and this error still comes up...

does anyone have any suggestions??????????

Use the registry editor to go to the key;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Determine what is failing, more than likely it is a call to the scheduler that is no longer there, then just delete the key and the file will no longer load on boot. Brent Schmidt CNE, Network +

Actually, to Use GroupWise it is NOT necessary to install Novell client at all! By launching GW first time you just point what is a GW PO IP address , username & pssw.

P.S.Novell Client is absolute requirement for Console1.

Your right about not having the client installed to run GW, we have remote offices, that just run NT 4.0, and do not connect to any Novell server, and that is how they connect to GW, But If you have the install program on a Novell server then you need the client, unless you have the server setup on clientless access. Sooo I had to load the client to load GW6, and it was after that I received the error! Have tried POROGEEK's ideal and this didnt work! ANYBODY have any other ideals????????

OK.The situation is clear now.
I could offer to DO NOT use Novell Client in your situation at all! I have a very big experience with Novell Clients and could say :it is not a good OS component to install. If you can avoid NovClient installation - do not install it.
To download GW installation you can use CSNW (it is simply to remove it after) or create a central installation point on W2k PC , OR just use NAL to deploy GW.
