I am running Windows NT server 4.0 /sp6 with Veritas backup Exec 8.6. I am trying to backup Novell 5.1 servers remoteley. Remote agent for Novell servers already installed on Novell Machine. When a backup starts to backup novell servers i used to get difrent error messages every time. I have reinstalled the remote agents. pls find below the log file. Just wondering the same scheduled job yields diffrent results everythime it runs.. Have any one encountered this situation.
Briefley i would say, the same scheduled job able to attach the EDIR and backup fully some time i get the following error.
Unable to attach to ServerX.Novell Directory/EDIR/.[Root]:.
A network connection to the device could not be established.
Unable to attach to ServerX-EDIR-1.Novell Directory/EDIR/Schema:.

Unable to attach to ServerX-EDIR-2.NetWare File System/ServerX/Server Specific Info:.
A network connection to the device could not be established.
Can any one can help on this
