Is there anyway to setup a Linux box to log into a Netware server? Not sure if this can be done. We are thinking of running linux desktops and then keeping our Novell file server.

Yes, this is very easy to do.

The first step is to enable IPX/SPX on your NIC (Only if your Netware Server is using IPX/SPX)

There is a package available that will let you connect to File and Printer shares on your NetWare server, and you can even use these connections for SAMBA or NFS shares to other clients.

I don't remember the package name, but I seem to remember that it was included with the standard distro in the RPMS directory.

Hope this helps!
