A new system put in late last year. Backup Exce has been a pain since day one.

Backup Exec - Job Server Version 9.10.1127
Get error message on backup

ERROR - Insufficient privilege for \OFFILES\FD24\4278DF5A.000 - SKIPPED.

The file is where it says it is and can be moved to a local drive and deleted off the server.
Next time a Full backup happens its there again.

Anyone any idea where to start looking???

what sp do you have on the groupwise and also what version
i assume you are using the gwtsa?

i have seen this on a few servers
seemingly sp4 of groupwise 6.5 eradicates this completely

also with sp4 you can bin the tsa and just use tsafs natively

It's just a corrupt file.
Which cannot be renamed or deleted

Odd thing is that you delete it and it goes but comes back again a split second later with the same Date / Time Stamp

Now looking for ways to get rid of the file
