Novell 5.1 IPX and Macintosh OS X

I am investigating how to give access to Novell shares.
We have IPX only Novell network.
We have an IP network with BSD DNS and DHCP.
NFAM is a possible solution.
A client from Prosoft that works only with IP is another route.
Switching to Microsoft is another route.
Has anonyone done this ?

Your best bet is to add IP to the NetWare server and install the Native File Access Protocol software so you can use the Mac client to gain file access to the servers volumes.
