Novell 5.1 and Windows 2000 Server Connectivity

I have an issue I thought you might be able to help me with.
I have 2 servers, one running Novell 5.1 and the other running Windows 2000 Server. The problem is that the 2 servers cannot communicate. I can login to the servers with my Win2K Pro client, which can see both servers, but i cannot access the Novell Server through the Gateway Services client. I wish to be able to move/copy files between the servers. When trying to connect with GSNW, I keep getting errors saying the network path was not found. I can ping the Novell server from the Win2K server, but that is all. Any ideas, is it a possible issue with dns or the gateway client?

You have a few choices here - here are two:

1. Install Client Services for NetWare (not the Novell Client) onto the server. You should then be able to use the NET USE command to map drives to your Novell server. Syntax would be as follows:

NET USE T: \\SERVERNAME\VOL1\DIRECTORY
/USER:.USERNAME.OU.ORG *

(command is all one line) where T: is the drive letter, SERVERNAME is the name of your NetWare server, VOL1 is your volume, DIRECTORY is the directory path you wish to access (optional), .USERNAME.OU.ORG is the context and username, and * prompts for your password rather than you typing it at the command line.

2. Use a Workstation with the NetWare Client and the Microsoft Client to attach to both servers and copy from there. -----------------------------------------------------
