Hi.
I want to install a new IDe hard disk, the one I have is a 80Gb seagate, I was trying to install in every ways but the novell install nlm only sees the drive as 7 gb...I created a 300 Mb DOS FAT16 particion (with DOS 6.22), then the similar with windows 98SE (Fat32). In both modes the novell cant see more that 7gb...I used the IDE.dsk and the HAM Ide drivers inside Novell setup, but the result is the same.
I read the Novell 4.10 Ide.dsk drivers uses the DOS particion for matching size when creating the novell particion. It is true?
My seagate drive can be setting to 32Gb via a jumper, I putted in the selected position and the result is the same.
Is there a way to install a similar IDE disk (40Gb or 80Gb) in Novell 4.10?? Where could I find a driver that resolves this problem?
All replys are welcome...

Sure...I am using Netware 4.10 not 4.11 as you say. I know there is a big difference between them. I'm going to try with the following: will install 4.11 on another disk and copy to a diskette only the .DSK and .HAM files related to control the IDE interface, then will install 4.10 in 40GB IDE disk and when program is asking for a driver will use this diskette. I dont know what will be the result, maybe it isn't right.
If you know how can i resolve this please share it.
Thanks!
