Notware maintenance

I am new to this stuff and am still trying to figure my way through. How do I go about cleaning up the netware server? My back up jobs are exceeding one tape and editing the job to the essentials hasn't solved this. I recon I need to do some purging and general clean up.. what how?

There is no general cleanup as far as the OS is concerned. The only trash you'll find on Netware has been left there by users and admins.

I prefer to do my purging from a client. Right click on the red 'N' next to the clock, select Netware Utilities -> Purge. This will bring up a dialog box that will let you pick the server/volume/directory of your choice.
