Hi. Is there a way to specify how far in advance you want Notify to notify you of appointments? I have a user who says he starts being notified 30 minutes prior to his appointment and he is just wondering if there is a way to customize this, say, change it to 15 minutes prior? Thanks.

Go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, DATE & TIME and check the ALARM OPTIONS. The DEFAULT ALARM TIME setting should be what you're looking for.

Yes, you can change the options under the Environment setting for your alarms, but here's another way that doesn't require changing the "default" setting:

You can change the notify alarm on any meeting appointment by "right-clicking" the appointment on your calendar and selecting "alarm". Then in the alarm dialog box change the default setting for this appointment to the amount time (hours or minutes) you will need. This is a great feature if you have an appointment outside the office and the "10 minute" default setting won't work for an appointment across town! Also, you have the option to keep your "default setting for those appointments that don't require extra notification time

PS - This also works for posted appointments too!!

I ran into this small problem where I created a Groupwise Conference room resource for one of our depts. and people are sending requests to the conference room and when the owner opens up the request she cannot make changes to the request saying that the room is only available at this time or just to put notes or something in there. She can only accept or deny the request. Thanks
