Does anyone know a way in which the Admin can be notified when an account has not been accessed for a certain period of time? Either Netware or third party utility would be good. Thanx

You can run NLIST reports periodically and this will detail accounts that have not been used for a certain period of time. The format would probably be as follows:

NLIST USER WHERE "Login Time" LE 01/01/01

Date is in Americal format (ie. MM/DD/YY).

You can also use the Excel/Access ODBC add-in which I tend to use as it gives as much or as less detail as you require. This can be found at: -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"
-----------------------------------------------------

That is exactly what I needed to determine the last time an account has been accessed. The final syntax from my end is as follows:
from a dos prompt:

cx /r (to change to the root context)

NLIST USER WHERE "Login Time" LE 05/11/02 /S
(to list all users in all contexts that have not logged in since May 11/02)

I will run this weekly to keep track of accounts that are not being used. (sometimes our HR people do not let me know of changes)
Thanks again.
