Hi,

I want to set a file as a Lotus Notes (R5) signature.

I have gone to ACTGION => TOOLS => PREFERENCE and then SIGNATURE. There, I have selected HTML file and provided a TXT file (created in Notepad) as the signature file. So far so good.

However, when I create a new mail, a pop up appears asking "PRESERVE EXISTING LINE BREAKS IN TEXT?" - YES / NO / CANCEL.

If you select YES or NO, the file text appears, CANCELS shows nothing.

If I save a MS-word file as TEXT, then also same behaviour.

I would like to know how to create a file so that the pop-up does not come up and the file text appears as a normal signature.

Thanks in advance for your kind help,

Cheers,

psyp3

you should provide an HTML file.
Just create your signature in Word -> save as HTML and use that.
Still - sometimes there might be problems with a line break.

if you prefer a plain text, just type in in the text box.
