We have a (historical) Lotus Notes R6 Domino Server running on a Windows 2000 Server box, which has been performing fine for the past year and more, but since this weekend it keeps crashing whenever the Domino Server is restarted.
Because it's an historical archive (ie doesn't contain any live data) we no longer have anyone on site who's familiar enough with Notes to troubleshoot the problem.
I'm assuming that the problem is maybe caused by some sort of data corruption in one of the databases or something, in which case I presume there's some sort of repair tool I can run to repair/compress the databases?
Before it crashes somnething called NSD creates a file called, for instance, "nsd_all_W32I_MKSRVLND01_07_18@11_38", which it says can be used to diagnose the error, but like I say, I only use Notes, I don't know how it works.
Any help or advice on this matter would be hugely appreciated.
Cheers,
David
