Hello all,
I am using Notes 6.5.1, and I am having a major problem with the messages resorting after opening an attachment. I have the messages sorted by date, with the most recent messages on the bottom. When I open an attachment, the messages are resorted so that the most recent message is on top. Also, the message I selected is no longer selected, but the message that is now in the position of the formerly selected message is selected. For example, if I had the 3rd message from the bottom selected, after it resorts the third message from the bottom is still selected, but it is no longer the message I had selected originally.

I have verified (repeatedly) that the "Retain View column sorting" option is checked.

I have also tried patching/upgrading to version 6.5.3, which supposedly fixes this bug. It did not.

I really hope somebody can help with this.

Thanks

Anybody?

Nope.

I'm stumped on this one. I admit that I have never seen an occurence like that before. Opening an attachment is in the document, it has nothing to do with the view.
The only question I can possibly wonder about is whether or not the db option "allow use of stored forms" has an impact.

Pascal.
