We are having issues with Notes 5.08 - 5.012 on Win2000SP4. If you close notes it wont re-open without a re-boot or using task manager to end all notes related programs. It appears Notes isnt closing properly. Doesnt seem to matter which client version. Server is at 5.011. Re-loading client from scratch seems to help for a week or two but then starts doing it again. Hope someone else has seen this!!

We have had the same problem especially with 5.05, it's alot better in 5.011, you also might want to try to a clean reinstall of the notes client setup, those .nsf files can get corrupt when you end notes tasks in the task manager.(The only original .nsf file you may really need is the address book, the rest can be recreated again from the server mail. IBM has a tool called zapnotes which "cleans up" after notes gets closed:
