Notes mdm for PCTEL 2304 V.92

I need to configure Lotus Notes 5.0.4 on several Dell Latitude C610 notebooks to dial in to a Domino server. The only problem is that the modem that came with the laptops, is a PCTEL 2304WT V.92 MDC and I can't find a Notes modem driver for it. Does anyone have a working Notes driver for this type of modem?

Did you try the generic all speed file?

most modems are 'hayes-compatible' and should work with that one (you may have to edit it to allow a higher speed though) Woonjas

Yes I've tried the Autoconfigure file, to no avail. I get the error "unrecognized response from modem"

The only half decent driver I've found that works 30% of the time, is the ZOOM 56k one. And even that one fails more than it actually manages to connect.

I've now found that the Windows driver also has trouble connecting, so I've decided that these modems are crap and not worth my time and effort. I'd rather spend the money on new equipment than waste another minute on this piece of s*$@ hardware.

Anyway, thanks for the help. I really appreciate it, even though it's hard to tell from the above rambling. You'll have to excuse me, as this situation has me pretty stressed...
