Notes Followup Flag Problem

I'm having a very weird problem the "Follow-up flag" in on my Notes Client. Every time I add or remove a flag from a message it marks the message as "unread". It is irritating since it turns my inbox in to a sea of red!
I am running Notes 7.0.2 and it has been running fine for the last few months. The only thing that has changed is my ID file recently changed.
Has anyone ever had this problem before?
