One of my remote employees is having an issue with her notes falling off of records. I have checked to make sure that she is adding notes correctly to a record.

In some cases, I have found that the notes are present on the SQL server, but somehow are not showing up on her side when she syncs. In other cases the notes are just gone from both sides.

Has anyone seen this before? What could be the causes? It seems to be exclusive to this one user, so there's always the potential that it's user error.

Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated!

Thanks,
Tom

could be that her .DBT file(s) are corrupt, it could be that she's in the habit of entering way too much in the notes area and has eclipsed the 32K display limitation of a single text box in windows (ever wondered why some files were too big for notepad and needed to be opened with WRITE? well, it's because notepad is a single textbox!)

For these reasons (and numerous others) I advise my clients to avoid using the notes tab for anything more than the most rudimentary of notes...
