I have inherited a Notes 4.5 server. Need to change scripts in the existing databases. My past experience is that that the design option was in the pull down menus.
All the Notes manuals I read state that to edit a database, all I should have to do is click on the database, pull down VIEW and then choose DESIGN. However, from my Notes Desktop, if I click on the database then pull down VIEW, there is no Design button.
I have administrative control over the database.
The old sys admin left under bad terms, so I can't call him to see how he edited these forms.
Is it possible he removed the DESIGN option or is there a startup parameter or another program I should use to get to the desing for this database.
Thanks
