Notes guru's;
I know nothing about notes other than how to spell it (I think?). That said, perhaps someone can be kind enough to provide an understandable fix for my problem (with notes of course)?
I manage an AIX server with a perl script that will generate an email to a remote email address through a local Lotus Notes version 5.x SMTP server.
No matter what parameters I code for the source in the email generation (using perl MIME::lite) the mail gets rejected by the SMTP server "Mail from .... rejected for policy reasons".
I've been conversing with the notes admin who has tried to define something that will let this email go through. So far, unsuccessfully.
What must the notes admin define to allow this internal email to be accepts for forwarding?
TIA
