I'm sure there are a couple of bugs in Notes and Designer, has anybody else experienced and/or solved these?

Number 1 - I use two monitors, with the Windows feature to spread the desktop across both screens. This works fine, except that the little grey Properties windows in Notes won't drag across screens! Very annoying...

Number 2 - Domino Designer deletes my code!! On many different occasions, saving a form has deleted lines of my code, usually "If" statements or their counterparts (Then, Else, End If etc.). This problem seems to go away if I select an element without much code, such as a field, before I save, but this is not good - sometimes I've had "If" statements as long as my arm disappear!!

I'm on 6.0.2 CF2 by the way, any ideas appreciated!

Don't know about the properties window. Initially, I would suspect this is more an issue with the video driver, but prior experience tells me that maybe Lotus may have a hand with it.
Indeed, ever since mice came with wheels, there has been an issue with scrolling in a Notes document. Lotus has always answered that the issue has nothing to do with Notes and that Notes calls on standard OS functions to do mouse scrolling. Unfortunately, in practice this is difficult to believe since scrolling with a mouse wheel in a Notes document not only rarely obeys the settings in the control panel, but can vary from document to document !
In light of such, I cannot vouch for the total innocence of Lotus in this matter, but I can say that Lotus is not the only product for which this kind of thing happens. I have experienced other popup windows sitting squarely between monitors as well (Nero anyone ?).

On the second subject, I will be much more reserved though. I have never seen Notes "delete" a line of code when the document is saved, and I've been working with Notes for nine years now (since R3.1).
It may be, however, that your db has an integrity issue. I would suggest using the Recompile All Lotusscript option in the Tools panel, and see what errors crop up.
Maybe a Fixup is in order for that database.

Pascal.

OK, now I have an experienced Notes developer telling me he's never seen this problem - all signs point toward my PC, rather than the product!

If I have a large block of LS code on my screen, I can sit there pressing the Save button over and over, and sooner or later I get a Script Error because Designer deleted one of my lines, and then it won't let me save!! Still, as you say you haven't seen it I'll try re-installing my notebook, the problem could be local.

Thanks a lot dude, I'm already on the latest video drivers, but its an IBM Thinkpad, so there's always a lot of compatibility issues, so I guess this is unsolvable at the mo!
