Notes BSM - Incr's viable?

Can the Notes BSM (v2.1 on Win2kS, Domino 5.something) do "incremental" backups reliably, and can those backups be restored?

I'm asking if anyone has an experience with this. Right now I back up a few Domino boxes full every day, and it's a hell of a lot of data accounting for fully half of my tape consumption. We were previously using an open file manager and getting flat file backups, which could only be done full-daily, but now that I have the BSM, and there at least appears to be the capability for running incrementals, I want to investigate the possibility of using it.

I had only tested the incremental LN backup in a testing server. You need to enable the LN transaction log feature before you back it up.
Because I have not put the BSM 2.1 on production yet, I cannot tell you whether it reliable or not.
