I wanted to syncronize my windows 2000 password with my lotus notes password so that when i open notes i dotn have to type in my password everytime. How do i do that?

during installation of the notes client software you need to select the single sign on service to make sure it is installed.

if it's installed, make sure it's set to start automatically.

notes should prompt you that the notes and windows password aren't the same and to synchronize them you need to change the password on your notes.id file-tools-userid-changepassword

Do i need to reinstall it in order for me to set up the syncronization? If not what do I have to do to set that up.

just run the setup again

It'll keep your settings

I reinstalled the software and checked the single sign on service but where do i go to set it up because it still asks me for my password

check if the single sign on service is started:

start-setttings-controlpanel-administrative tools-services

make sure that the single sign on service is set to start automatically.

change your password in notes:
file-tools-user id
type your current notes password
set/change password
type your current notes password
type new password Woonjas
