Notes and Outlook Future full compatibility?

This is basically a user environment question. Does anybody know if Lotus has any plans for the future to integrate their email client with outlook and the office suite? There are so many issues which certainly is par for the course; all things considered. However, Notes seems to be a very reliable mail program. One would think the compatibility would make Notes that much more widely used. Just a thought. If anybody has any insight, I'd be interested in hearing.
