How can I show/attach a note as a previous phone call? Is there a way to connect the 2 so that when i run a report of calls it will show up as a call with information

Not once you've created the Note. If you do a Record History (Ctrl-H), you can enter the same type of info as a Note and it will be a Hisory item (like a call)
